A shooting at a restaurant in the Salemtown area of Nashville has left one dead.
A shooting took place at Roasted on the 600 block of Garfield Street at around 3 p.m. Sunday. There is a heavy Metro Nashville police presence.

There were five gunshot victims and one died, according to police. The victim who died was having an altercation with the alleged shooter before it escalated.
Eight people in all were transported to the hospital. One person has a minor injury after possibly being grazed by a bullet and another person had a panic attack.
Police have released surveillance photos of the alleged gunman. He left the scene in a Mercedes GLS 450.
