As we go into the fall shortage season we’re seeing major issues in dairy, pasta, and in potatoes. Whether you are a Prepper, a homesteader, or a concerned homemaker there are serious issues happening right now.

Editor’s Commentary: We have said for the last few months that we anticipate shortages in medications. There are multiple fronts that are concerning, including supply chain issues, civil unrest, a war with China which produces over 90% of all pharmaceuticals sold in drug stores today, and government rationing that could come with another Plandemic.
This is particularly concerning for those who have prescription drugs that they need filled regularly. If you have a doctor that you trust, especially if they’re like-minded about such things, the best thing you can do is ask them to expand your prescriptions if possible. That doesn’t work with all meds since some have short expirations but with many if not most, you can stock up.
This is challenging for certain drugs which is why it’s important to be honest IF you trust your doctor. Let them know your concerns and tell them you want a rotating backup supply in case access to pharmacies becomes limited in the near future.
Again, I cannot stress enough that you must fully TRUST your doctor before making such a request. And I don’t just mean trusting your doctor’s skills. My doctor, for example, actually buys long-term storage food from my company so it was a no-brainer when I asked if he could expand on our prescriptions. But if you have a doctor who is questionable in mindset, you may end up getting a knock on your door if you make what they consider to be an unreasonable request. My California friend learned that the hard way recently.
If you cannot get the meds you need from your doctor, you can go through Jase Medical. They can help you through telehealth to secure a very wide range of meds, including antibiotics and chronic medications. They are a sponsor, but I still strongly recommend going through your own doctor if you trust them. As much as I appreciate what Jase does, I’m still a bigger fan of keeping as much of our lives localized as possible.
Steve Poplar, the gentleman in the video above, is a great resource for daily updates. He’s a bit different from most prepper YouTubers because a ton of his content comes through reports from his subscribers. I recommend following his channel.
Through all of the craziness happening in the world today, it’s important to remain in good spirits. We cannot go through life scared even if there are scary things out there. For Bible-believing Christians, we know how the story ends. Even in troubling times such as now, rejoice… but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be prepared as well.
Sound off about this post on my Late Prepper Substack.
Independent Journalism Is Dying
Ever since President Trump’s miraculous victory, we’ve heard an incessant drumbeat about how legacy media is dying. This is true. The people have awakened to the reality that they’re being lied to by the self-proclaimed “Arbiters of Truth” for the sake of political expediency, corporate self-protection, and globalist ambitions.
But even as independent journalism rises to fill the void left by legacy media, there is still a huge challenge. Those at the top of independent media like Joe Rogan, Dan Bongino, and Tucker Carlson are thriving and rightly so. They have earned their audience and the financial rewards that come from it. They’ve taken risks and worked hard to get to where they are.
For “the rest of us,” legacy media and their proxies are making it exceptionally difficult to survive, let alone thrive. They still have a stranglehold over the “fact checkers” who have a dramatic impact on readership and viewership. YouTube, Facebook, and Google still stifle us. The freer speech platforms like Rumble and 𝕏 can only reward so many of their popular content creators. For independent journalists on the outside looking in, our only recourse is to rely on affiliates and sponsors.
But even as it seems nearly impossible to make a living, there are blessings that should not be disregarded. By highlighting strong sponsors who share our America First worldview, we have been able to make lifelong connections and even a bit of revenue to help us along. This is why we enjoy symbiotic relationships with companies like MyPillow, Jase Medical, and Promised Grounds. We help them with our recommendations and they reward us with money when our audience buys from them.
The same can be said about our preparedness sponsor, Prepper All-Naturals. Their long-term storage beef has a 25-year shelf life and is made with one ingredient: All-American Beef.
Even our faith-driven precious metals sponsor helps us tremendously while also helping Americans protect their life’s savings. We are blessed to work with them.
Independent media is the future. In many ways, that future is already here. While the phrase, “the more the merrier,” does not apply to this business because there are still some bad actors in the independent media field, there are many great ones that do not get nearly enough attention. We hope to change that one content creator at a time.
Thank you and God Bless,
JD Rucker
The only reason 90% of drugs the US population relies on is made in China is greed. China has no FDA ( I know they have been corrupted) or OSHA. There is no healthcare unless you are a party member. Take a look at the videos made by a guy named Serpentza on You Tube. He lived there for years and the CCP hates him. Everything has been squandered and stolen of your tax dollars. If you add all the taxes you pay, from sales, energy, income, property, will shock you. The middle class is being drained like a vampires on their victims. The politicians have become grab hags, they are not your friends.
I fear its all part of big globalist population reduction agenda. The chosen will see no shortage of anything.
Don’t fall for the “lifesaving medications” hoax – read the underlying studies to see it this drug even matters in any significant or covered your own age group; not the drug marketing hype.
Beware of drugs that claim to treat “risk factors”, which are only arbitrary surrogate markers for a disease, but not the condition itself. Less just might well be more, when it comes to over-hyped prescription medications. Do your due diligence.
Start with the NIH – Library of Medicine search engine – PubMed. Learn how to read these drug studies with a very sharp eye. Beware of claims only for percentage reductions – this drug reduces scrofula 50%. When in fact getting scrofula in the first place is nil.
Take a very jaundiced eye to marketing drug claims. Then take on your doctor, who may have gotten his or her only education about this drug directly from Big Pharm “continuing medical education” seminars themselves.
