Our readers are well aware that we are not exactly pleased with how Republicans have handled their majorities over the last year. They control the House, Senate, and White House, yet despite a couple of decent pieces of legislation and some strong border executive orders, there hasn’t been the movement that many of us expected.
But, as Elon Musk noted on X today, the alternative would have been far, far worse, which is why he’s committing to help the GOP again.
In response to a report that he is “all-in funding Republicans” ahead of the midterms, he posted:

The GOP may be feckless and weak, but they’re less destructive than their Democrat counterparts. And while a “lesser of two evils” choice is unfortunate, it’s what we have.
