A new survey reveals a troubling reality for those who hold Scripture as the foundation of truth. Just 36% of Americans agree that “the Bible is totally accurate in all the principles it presents.” This leaves a vast majority viewing God’s Word through a lens of doubt, error, or outright dismissal, signaling a deeper erosion in the nation’s spiritual backbone.
The findings come from the American Bible Society’s State of the Bible 2025 report, which paints a picture of widespread skepticism. Nearly one in five respondents see the Bible as a tool “written to control and manipulate.” Another quarter dismiss it as “just another book.” Among non-Christians, distrust runs even higher, with 70% rejecting its accuracy outright. These numbers expose how far society has drifted from the days when biblical authority shaped laws, families, and communities.
Gallup polls show a steady slide: back in 1984, 40% of Americans took the Bible as the literal word of God, but by 2022, that figure had plummeted to 20%. More recent data from Lifeway Research in 2025 pegs it at a mere 14%. The pattern suggests something deliberate at work—decades of public education pushing Darwinian theories as unquestionable fact, Hollywood flooding screens with godless narratives, and tech giants censoring voices that defend traditional faith.
It’s no coincidence that as prayer vanished from schools and crosses from public squares, belief in Scripture’s reliability followed suit.
Whispers of a larger agenda linger here. Global elites and shadowy organizations have long sought to dismantle Biblical influence, viewing it as a barrier to their vision of a compliant, secular world order. From the United Nations’ promotion of “inclusive” ideologies that mock Genesis to the rise of AI-driven propaganda that questions divine inspiration, the assault on the Bible feels orchestrated. After all, a people unmoored from eternal truths become easier to sway with fleeting trends and government edicts.
Yet amid the gloom, pockets of resistance emerge. The same State of the Bible report notes a surge in Bible engagement among Millennials, defying expectations in a generation bombarded by woke indoctrination. Scripture-engaged individuals report lower stress, stronger purpose, and greater generosity—proof that God’s Word still transforms lives when embraced. For churches and families, this is a call to double down: teach the young, expose the deceptions, and reclaim the authority of the Bible before the lukewarm tide engulfs us all.
Why One Survival Food Company Shines Above the Rest
Let’s be real. “Prepper Food” or “Survival Food” is generally awful. The vast majority of companies that push their cans, bags, or buckets desperately hope that their customers never try them and stick them in the closet or pantry instead. Why? Because if the first time they try them is after the crap hits the fan, they’ll be too shaken to call and complain about the quality.
It’s true. Most long-term storage food is made with the cheapest possible ingredients with limited taste and even less nutritional value. This is why they tout calories so much. Sure, they provide calories but does anyone really want to go into the apocalypse with food their family can’t stand?
This is what prompted the Llewellyns to launch Heaven’s Harvest. They bought survival food from multiple companies and determined they couldn’t imagine being stuck in an extended emergency with such low-quality food. They quickly discovered that freeze drying food for long-term storage doesn’t have to mean sacrificing flavor, consistency, or nutrition.
Their ingredients are all-American. In fact, they’re locally sourced and all-natural! This allows their products to be the highest quality on the market, so good that their customers often break open a bag in a pinch to eat because they want to, not just because they have to due to an emergency.
At Heaven’s Harvest, their only focus is amazing food. They don’t sell bugout bags, solar chargers, or multitools. They have one mission – feeding Americans in times of crisis.
What they DO offer is the ability for people to thrive in times of greatest need. On top of long-term storage food, they offer seeds to help Americans for the truly long-term. They want them to grow their own food if possible which is why they offer only Heirloom, Non-GMO, Non-Hybrid, Open-Pollinated seeds so their customers can build permanent food security on their own property.

This is one of those bogus questions. The Bible is inherent in its original manuscripts, but a good number of those who say the Bible isn’t totally accurate are Bible scholars who wholly believe the Bible is the trustworthy word of God.. There are, indeed some internal inconsistencies between books, but they are minor things, like a difference in number or spelling of names. So the knowledgable Bible scholar who holds the Bible as being inerrant will agree that it is not “totally accurate,” but totally inerrant in original manuscripts and 99.99% accurate. And to those who want to be honest, “99.99% is not “totally.”
If you believe that the Bible is totally accurate, then you have to accept ridiculous things like that Noah took two of every animal on the ark and fed them for a year, that people used to live for nine centuries, that snakes and donkeys talk, etc. To me, the sad thing is that 36% of Americans still believe such fairy tales.
You wrote: “If you believe that the Bible is totally accurate, …”
It is and I do.
“…then you have to accept ridiculous things like that Noah took two of every animal on the ark and fed them for a year, …”
Well, the Lord Jesus didn’t think it was ridiculous, so neither do I. (Mat 24:37-38; Luk 17:26-27)
And it wasn’t “two of every animal”.
Two points:
it was 2 of the UNCLEAN and 7 of the CLEAN. This was so they would have animals to eat as well as offer in sacrifice.
They only needed one of each KIND. Breeding over time would introduce the different types that we now see.
Gen 7:2 Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the male and his female: and of beasts that are not clean by two, the male and his female.
Gen_8:20 And Noah builded an altar unto the LORD; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.
“…that people used to live for nine centuries,…”
God’s renders a day like 1000 years.
2Pe 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
People lived just short of 1000 years…and will once again when He comes back and restores the Earth to its original state. This is in keeping with the admonition and promise from God that in the day they break His rule(s), aka as “sin”, they would die.
Gen 2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
And finally, your comment re: “…that snakes and donkeys talk…”
The donkey spoke by the miracle from God to the (AHEM) ass that was riding her to get his attention.
The serpent spoke by a miracle from the evil one to deceive.
Your comment, if you will forgive me, is evidence the deception still exists. If we are deceived, we do not know we are.
The Scriptures are 100 percent accurate in their original. You will meet the Author in due time.
You are a loon. By the way can you heal a dying person or rise someone out of the grave? Can you handle poisonous snakes or drink poison? These things and more you should be able to do according to your savior. How many mountains have you moved lately?
If you say the bible is 100% accurate then you’re making the claim that it has lost zero correctness through every stage of re-translation. People often can’t copy a single page without making at least one mistake. You also have to claim that it hasn’t lost any of its context or meaning when going from ancient Hebrew to Greek, Latin, German, Old English, and now modern English. There’s just no way. Then you have believe the notion that the corrupt churches who claimed sole ownership of the texts didn’t alter them in any way to justify their teachings and hierarchy. Yes the Christian Bible contains many truths. However, I’d wager that many more truths have been deliberately removed or distorted over the last two thousand years.
The Bible is absolutely 100% accurate..but that is not to say that every word is to be taken literally. It is also not to say that every word of the Bible needs to be couched within a specific historical context. No, the Bible is a much, much more profound document than that.
Furthermore, if you don’t believe that Jesus Christ was with us in the flesh some 2,000 years ago, and that God has the power to make all come to pass as he wills, go away because you and nothing more than a blind man claiming that there is no light in this world.
It is only by being guided by the Holy Spirit that an accurate understanding of the Bible is possible. Yes, cupcake, if your understanding about what is written in the Bible is not a result of being guided by the Holy Spirit, please go back to playing Fort Nite.
We are in the End Times and the Great Tribulation is surely coming, though it may still be two decades away or so. Think that’s a long time? Look how fast the last 20 years flew by.
There is a series of articles called the Biblical Disclosings series. If you want to check out the real power of what is written in the Bible you should check it out. I forget who wrote it but I do remember that I saw it on Rense a while back. Rense keeps all articles it posts in a running yearly archive. Look for the MORE link at the bottom of his main page. You’ll find it if you want to find it, or if you are supposed to find it. It’s not for mental midgets so that eliminates at least 70% of you reading this, but for those of you that can critically think for more than five minutes you should check it out. One thing is true, you won’t say the Bible is of no value if you are able to catch a clue.
Hey Mick, you say the endtimes are near. You know Jesus said that exact same thing 2000 years ago and we are still freekin waiting. Only an idiot would believe half the crap in your precious book. Here’s one for you: Jesus said he would be in the grave three days and three nights. Friday afternoon to dawn on Sunday is nowhere near three days and three nights. Stupid people say Friday, Saturday and Sunday are three days but if you know your bible you would know that Genesis says that one day equals one period of darkness followed by one period of daylight. Learn to use what brain cells you have remaining.
You’re in good company. The Jews say the same thing.
