If AI is so smart, why can’t it manage something as simple as traffic lights in a city? That would make commutes SO nice. But it can’t. I’ve been designing/developing software for 44 years and haven’t seen any real advances lately other than searching/sorting capabilities. I work mostly with Microsoft and dread updates as they are getting worse and worse. I think AI takes advantage of these nice searching algorithms and they developed a ‘smart’ interface that can talk to you. There is really nothing behind it, IT CAN’T THINK! But I understand that they are trying to make people think it does.
